The Committee on Finance and Banking recommends that the Parliament should adopt as a basis the draft law on amendments to several legislative acts of Ukraine re determining qualified investors in securities

The bill (Reg. No. 3423) suggests introduce a new category of the stock market participants – the qualified investors in securities – into the special laws on securities and to establish peculiarities of their activity on the securities market.

The bill suggests amend article 188-30 of the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Infringements.

The main aim of the bill lies in limiting access of non-qualified investors to hazardous transactions on the securities market and further adaptation of national legislation in the sphere of stock market to the norms of European legislation.
